I saw a picture the other day someone had drawn of a kid in a dino suit. I needed to recreate it in clay. And here it is.

I have really been enjoying making these silly little sculptures. I don't wear jewelry so this is better because I get to enjoy it. Little guy is sitting on my desk next to Chester now.

I agree on the one comment, your stuff is very neat and tidy! Also how did you do the the sand for the base? Very cute work! Do you also paint the eyes on or are they clay? I still have issues with my eyes. Can't decide on a style so I usually just use pin holes! Ha! Again, you do very good work!

Thank you for all the kind words! The sand is just clay that I textured with a toothbrush. The eyes are just acrylic paint. ^.^

This is so clean and perfect! How do you get the face looking so neat and tidy? :)

Very carefully. Lol! I actually use a head pin to make the circles and a Sakura Pen for the mouth.

Hahaha, very carefully. So true. D: I'll have to give it a try sometime, I'm always so scared to ruin the face! It's the most important part!

If you're using paint, you can gently scrape off a mistake after it's dried with your xacto knife or whatever blade you use. ^.^

Oooh, thank you for the hint! I'll have to get an xacto knife that isn't rusted up. >.> *cough*
